A typical day here

What this trip actually looks like.

Realistic, not idealised. Helps you picture it before you book.

  1. Morning

Breakfast buffet, then drop-off at the kids' club by 10.

  2. Afternoon

Beach or fenced kids' pool - they can wander between zones safely.

  3. Evening

Early dinner at the Mediterranean restaurant, sunset gin once they're down.

How kids experience it

What it feels like at their height.

Freedom

Can roam safely

Best for kids who like a club and a fenced pool - not for kids who hate organised play.

What they'll love

  • Fenced kids' pool of their own
  • A real kids' club, included

What might frustrate them

  • It's a long walk between zones
  • Club fills up at peak weeks

Room setup & cost with kids

What it actually takes to fit the family.

Medium - larger room neededWorks for 3+ kids

Family rooms with a real second sleeping zone - included in the family rate.

We don't list exact prices - they swing with season and platform. This is the structural reality with kids.

Stroller & walkability

How it actually moves with a stroller.

  • No car needed once you arrive
  • Stroller-friendly paths around the property
  • Smooth transfer in - kids can nap on the way

Quick read derived from the full logistics notes below - the long version has the specifics.

What I loved

The good bits, specifically.

  • Fenced kids' pool that's a separate body of water from the adults'.
  • Kids' club from age 4 plus a real toddler programme - both included.
  • Real door between bedrooms that actually deserves the name.
  • Six restaurants means no single one becomes a chore by night four.

What annoyed me

The honest small print.

  • It's a grand-scale property and feels like one - not for boutique purists.
  • Service is calm-Mallorca, not warm-Italian. Don't expect chatter.
  • Kids' club books out at peak weeks - sign up at breakfast on day one.

01

Kid reality

A proper kids' club for 4 - 12s and a separate baby/toddler space for under-4s, both included in most rates and staffed by people who actually do this for a living. Several pools - including a fenced, shallow kids' pool that's its own body of water from the adult ones. Acres of paths, no road noise, and a short walk to a calm Blue Flag beach. Our four-year-old came home knowing how to say 'agua' and 'más, por favor'.

02

Parent experience

Spa, six restaurants, a wine list with a sommelier who doesn't condescend, and yoga at 8am if you're that kind of parent (we're not, but it's there). Service is calm and quietly competent rather than warm - Mallorca, basically. The grand-hotel scale means you can find a quiet corner whenever you need one, which with kids matters more than any single amenity.

03

Sleep setup

Family rooms have a separate kids' alcove behind a proper door that meaningfully muffles sound. Cot, high chair, baby bath and a stroller available on request and delivered before arrival. Blackout blinds work in both rooms. Adults on the terrace at 9pm with a glass of wine, kids asleep - it works.

04

Logistics

Car useful but not essential - Palma airport is 75 min, the property runs a paid transfer service. The hotel itself is fully self-contained: restaurants, pools, kids' club, beach access, a small village of shops. Inside the grounds, paths are stroller-flat and there's a buggy service if you're far from your room.

05

Food situation

Six restaurants on site, three of which are genuinely kid-easy with proper kids' menus and 6pm seatings. Breakfast is an enormous buffet included in most rates - every dietary need quietly handled. The Mediterranean restaurant by the pool is the daily lunch default and never feels repetitive. You can stay on-site for every meal without going stir-crazy.

06

Where to go for coffee

Cappuccino Canyamel

Beachfront café 5 min away - proper espresso, kind to messy mornings.
